The Advanced Behavior Interventionist provides behavioral intervention to children with autism or other developmental disabilities and their families in a variety of settings. An Advanced Behavior Interventionist reports directly to a Program Supervisor or Clinical Supervisor.
An Advanced Behavior Interventionist is responsible for implementing the specific ABA programs/treatment plans as written by the Supervisor for their specific clients. In addition to implementing behavior plans and program goals, the behavior interventionist is responsible for collecting data and working closely with parents. An Advanced Behavior Interventionist is also responsible for recommending programming goals for their clients, creating client materials as needed, running monthly team meetings with their clients, responding to parent questions, and preparing progress reports when assigned.
